Description
Qigong is a combination of two Chinese words, "Qi" (Chi) which means life force or vital energy, and "gong" which means cultivation or practice. Qigong exercise focuses on harnessing and balancing the body's vital energy to promote simple poses and low-impact movements in a way to strengthen muscles and improve overall fitness. Stationary poses and flowing postures help increase balance, energy, and flexibility. Because it is low impact and can be done sitting or standing, Qigong is suitable for all levels. Loose fitting or comfortable clothing and a water bottle are recommended.
