Description

Step back in time with a Ranger to explore a hearty stew that early Williamson County residents would have used to see them through to the end of winter. At this point in the season, fresh food was hard to come by. You had to survive on the foods that you went out to hunt or on the stuff you had laid by. This would have included cured meats, root vegetables, and flour to thicken the stew up.
