Also prepare delicious Japanese-inspired side dishes that perfectly complement your creations, including refreshing cucumber salad, smoky grilled eggplant, and a simple yet elegant dessert to end the evening on a sweet note. Our menu for this class: Shrimp tempura bowl with avocado, sesame, topped with eel sauce and spicy mayonnaise served with Sunomono (a cucumber salad dressed with vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce), and spicy tuna nigiri served on a bed of Japanese-style grilled eggplant (glazed with a sweet soy sauce-based sauce. Dessert is a Kit Kat, papaya, mango and green cardamom sushi served with coconut flakes and chocolate chips. This class is part hands-on; part demonstration. Includes sushi kit to use and take home.
