Description

Dogs and owners will learn and practice a wide range of K9 social safely and respectfully. They will learn and practice paying attention, following commands, meeting and greeting, ignoring, walking together, recognizing safe and unsafe situations and preparing for success. Using an effective, dog-centric protocol participants will engage in developing win-win scenarios for dogs and humans.

* Only friendly dogs may participate. An evaluation will be conducted at the first meeting to verify the dogs' status and ability to participate. Options are available for dogs who aren't able to participate in this class. If you're unsure of your dog's status, contact the Alexander Hughes Community Center front counter staff before class registration.
