Spring 2026 Schedule: Varsity March 16: Mandatory boat setup day for all Varsity sailors March 17 – April 2: Practices held Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday April 7 – May 28: Practices held Tuesday / Thursday, with select Fridays when there are no travel regattas Total: 28 weekday practices Plus select Fridays (approximately 3–4) JV April 6 – May 27: Practices held Monday / Wednesday JV sailors may be invited to join Varsity at select Friday practices by coach invitation Our Chicago-area district plans to host 8 Tier 3 regattas focused on JV sailor development. Total: 16 weekday practices Plus select Fridays by coach invitation (This is a minimum of three more practices than last spring.) JV - $950 Varsity - $1,400 * Boats for 420 high school sailing will be provided by the Chicago Yacht Club. * Sailors will compete in up to few Regattas during the season: First Varsity regatta: March 28–29 First JV regatta: April 11 * Equipment/gear to purchase.
