GIRL SCOUT JOURNEY-IN-A-DAY: THINK LIKE A CITIZEN SCIENTIST Girls will work in Daisy/Brownie/Junior or Cadette/Senior/Ambassador groups to: • Observe nature and record data like a scientist • Contribute to citizen science that monitors water quality • Explore how creek restoration improves animals’ habitat • Complete a ‘Take Action’ service project plan to help support water quality Scouts will explore outdoors with our Naturalists and complete the Citizen Science Journey at their level (patches not included). These are drop-off programs; scouts bring snack, lunch, and water bottle, and wear gear for being outdoors.
