Prerequisite: successful completion of Introduction to Electrical and/or Electrical NEC Part 2 with CCPS Adult Continuing Education or five years field experience This is the first part of the code series, with the second part offered during the spring semester. The course continues to build on electrical skills and theory, with a primary focus on the National Electrical Code (NEC) book. Students must become proficient with the NEC to be successful electrician and to qualify for the Virginia Journeyman Electrician Exam. This class will include limited hands-on learning. Course price includes the code books and tabs required for the Journeyman’s Exam.
