This program will consist of a PowerPoint tour of the battlefields, a description of the battle, its causes and the action following which lead up to the surrender at Yorktown. This should be considered an entry level lecture for those unfamiliar with Petersburg and the Revolutionary War. The presenter will be Keith Southall, a 40 plus year historical reenactor and living historian, a history enthusiast, born and raised in the Petersburg environs. He uses his passion to educate tourists at his company Cockade City Tours LLC, and by teaching at Chesterfield County's Lifelong Learning Institute.
