Description

Prerequisite: successful completion of HVAC I and II with CCPS Adult Continuing Education.This course introduces types of fuels such as oil, gas, electric, air source, and geothermal heat pump systems and their characteristics of combustion; types, components and characteristics of burners and burner efficiency analyzers. Includes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and servicing. This third-semester course provides enough additional classroom hours to meet the state's educational requirements for a journeyman's exam. Price includes code book needed for the Journeyman's Exam. You must also have 3000 hours in the field.
