Prerequisite: successful completion of Introduction to HVAC and/or Circuits and Controls with CCPS Adult Continuing Education or six years field experienceThis course introduces types of fuels such as oil, gas, electric, air source, geothermal, hydraulics, boilers and heat pump systems and their characteristics of combustion; types, components and characteristics of burners and burner efficiency analyzers. Includes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and servicing. You must also have 3000 hours in the field. Price includes code book needed for the Journeyman's Exam.
