Overview: The EMT hybrid course is a college level course with required study time, homework, and both hospital and clinical rotations outside of class time. Completion of this course will give students eligibility to sit for the psychomotor and didactic testing through the State of Virginia. Information will be provided as to the testing process during the course. A CPR skills check is offered on the first night of class for those who do not have a valid certification. Upon registration, a code will be sent in order to complete the self-study portion of the class if selected in checkout. The certificate earned online will need to be uploaded to the student's account prior to the skills check. The first night of class is an optional CPR skills check. The second night is mandatory to continue with the class.
