Description

While many species become dormant over the winter, lichens and mosses are thriving! Come enjoy a winter morning learning about these uniquely and hardy species. This program will begin outside, hiking and searching for species in the wild. Then we'll head indoor for warn beverages and a closer look at some specimens under our scopes. Please dress for the weather. Participants will hike 1 mile to 2 miles over paved surfaces and uneven, natural terrain.
