This Defensive Driving Course is taught by an experienced, professional traffic safety instructor from St. Cloud State University. The class consists of lecture, films and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests.After finishing this class, you will receive a certificate of completion to give to your insurance company for the 10% discount on your insurance policy. There is no longer a requirement to complete an initial 8-Hour class. This class will fulfill the requirement to get your initial discount as well as the refresher class required every 3 years to maintain the discount. This class is offered in-person at the Chanhassen SENIOR CENTER, 7700 Market Blvd. There is no remote zoom option.
