Join skilled storytellers for a cup of coffee and candid conversation that entertains, educates, and encourages a sense of wonder about science and the natural world around us. This speaker series hosts guest lecturers and light refreshments

Explore the varied geology of this East Valley region that rises from low desert flatlands to some of the most spectacular mountain ranges found in any American urban area. Local geologist Steve Skotnicki, Ph.D will lead this program. In addition to teaching at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Steve has worked with the Arizona Geological Survey, the New Mexico Bureau of Geology, and Phoenix's HydroSystems.
