Description

Grab your Adventure Guide and join the Carson City Park Rangers as we plot a course for adventure! Where Junior Rangers can learn Map Orienteering, Outdoor Safety, and Leave No Trace principles. Junior Rangers will work through pages 3-7 with a Park Ranger and use their map orienteering skills to explore and navigate Carson River Park!
This trail is considered "easy" under the IMBA Trail Rating System. Please be sure to wear close-toed shoes, water and snacks.

Need to know: - Minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.- Dogs are allowed on a 6-foot leash.- Activity Guides and necessary equipment will be provided free of charge.- Bring water and dress appropriately for the weather. - If you or a family member needs it, Park Rangers have one (1) Grit Freedom all-terrain wheelchair available.
