About this event
How do investors decide what a company is really worth? In this workshop, students will dive deeper into the world of investing by learning how to evaluate businesses and make informed investment decisions. We’ll examine how market trends, company performance, and global events influence valuation. Students will explore techniques such as fundamental and relative valuation, use online tools to research companies, and learn about the resources professionals use to study a company’s worth. We will also look at how hedge funds and investment firms manage assets, what they look for in potential investments, and how different funds develop their strategies. Perfect for students who enjoyed Stock Market 101 or want to take their financial curiosity to the next level. Students enrolled or considering enrolling in the Upper School Academies Programs (Civic Leadership, Service Learning, or Global Engagement) may want to participate in this camp to further their knowledge in their field of interest. See the link to the Academies page on the PRS website.
