Animation brings drawings to life and is a key storytelling tool used in movies, television, games, and motion graphics. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of animation using Adobe Animate, with skills that translate easily to other animation software. We’ll focus on the 12 principles of animation and basic character design, starting with simple exercises like a bouncing ball. By the end of the course, students will complete a walk cycle animation of their own character and gain a solid foundation in animated storytelling.
