WATERCOLOR PAINTING STUDIO

Watercolor is the simplest of painting media, at the same time the most difficult?? Join us this fall to answer this burning question. This class is for beginners thru intermediate. Each week we will explore a different art concept or watercolor technique. We will be painting from simple still lives or landscape photos, feel free to bring in your own photo references. The goal is to try new ideas, improve skills and enjoy painting in a relaxed setting. You are encouraged to ask questions as the direction of the class is set by the needs of the students rather than a formal lesson plan. Time will be allowed for individual help, especially for beginners.

Beginners, all supplies for the first week are provided, this gives us time to talk about basic materials you will need. All others, please bring watercolor brushes, 100 % cotton watercolor paper, rinse container, pencil and paper for note taking, and oh yes, watercolor paint!
