Discover how to transform everyday inspiration into vibrant public art. This new two-course series introduces participants to the complete mural-making process - from finding inspiration and designing for scale to painting a finished mural. Ideal for beginners, no prior mural experience is needed. Participants can choose either course (or both) based on interests.
COURSE 2: Bringing a Mural to Life
Continue your mural journey by learning the fundamentals of mural painting, including selecting materials, preparing surfaces, and applying painting techniques. Participants will receive individualized support as they develop their own mural project to work on at home. The class will also collaborate on and paint a large-scale transportable wood panel mural to be donated to a local nonprofit.
