Maine State Music Theatre and The Public Theatre present the story of the legendary December 4, 1956, jam session at Sun Record Studios in Memphis, where Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash came together. Recognizing the historic nature of the meeting, studio owner Sam Phillips kept the tape recorders rolling as these four icons collaborated on gospel, country, and early R&B tracks. This Broadway hit, which debuted in 2010, features a catalogue of timeless classics, including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Great Balls of Fire," "I Walk the Line," and "Hound Dog."
