Are you ready to try your hands (and feet!) in our bouldering competition? Beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions are available for climbers of all skill levels, allowing you to experience the event your way - recreationally or competitively! The new problems set will range from V0 to V8 grades.

On Friday, the finals for each division will use the on/off format used in the Olympics and Alberta Climbing Association competitions. All members of our MRU climbing community are welcome to come watch the finals and cheer for the competitors, and we encourage you to wear your Halloween costumes that evening!

Program ScheduleMonday - Wednesday drop-in times consist of an open bouldering seeding round, with the option to record your scores with the climbing wall monitor. Those whose score totals are the top seeds in their skill division will receive an email on Thursday inviting them to come participate in the finals round on Friday evening.
To ensure your best experience we recommend you attend this program with:

• Active clothing and footwear (closed-toe shoes) in alignment with our facility access guidelines.
• Climbing harnesses and chalk will be provided, and climbing shoes are available for use if desired.
