Overview
This orientation is available to any member seeking to learn about our facility and training within it. We want to help our participants feel comfortable in our space! This orientation is mandatory for anyone aged 15-16 who wishes to use our Fitness Centre, Multi-Purpose Room, and Track Level, to ensure you understand our policies and procedures and to know how to safety train in our spaces.
To align with our facility-wide policies (pg. 3), please come prepared in workout/athletic clothing and footwear as you will be moving and exercising (this means no crocs, sandals, clogs, boots, etc.). If you are not dressed appropriately you will be unable to participate, and we will require you to transfer to a future session instead.

$120.00 for one 1.5 hour session
What can I expect?
This orientation goes through a facility tour, an introduction to our gym and fitness equipment, and policies and etiquette specific to our fitness spaces.
Also included is a detailed introduction to the three main lifts, the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Participants will also learn accessory training with dumbbells, kettlebells, and other modalities.

Orientation Outcome
By completing this orientation, youth (15 and 16-year-olds) will gain full access to the main Fitness Centre, the Track Level, and the Multi-Purpose Room without adult supervision.
Please note: All youth (15 - 16 years of age) are required to obtain a blue wristband from the customer service desk upon entering the facility to indicate to our employees that they have completed a youth orientation.
