Our GIRLS ONLY BOARDING CAMP at Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, MA, offers field hockey and ice hockey. Sign up for both sports or either individually. Day and boarding options are available. Boarders check in Sunday, 3–5 PM. Day campers check in Monday at 8 AM. Both check out Thursday at 4 PM. Field hockey is led by former Boston College standout Pia Serowik. Ice hockey is led by Casey O'Brien, an American forward for the PWHL's New York Sirens and the United States national team. In five seasons at Wisconsin, she won three NCAA titles (2021, 2023 and 2025) and the 2025 Patty Kazmaier Award. She finished as Wisconsin's career leader in points (274) and assists (177), with her points ranking eighth in NCAA history. Boarders stay in Massachusetts Maritime Academy dorms with beach and ocean access. Breakfast and dinner are served in the college cafeteria, with lunch at the rink. Campers build independence and responsibility by making their beds, maintaining their rooms, preparing for inspections and doing their own laundry midweek. Daily instruction includes 2 hours of field hockey and 2 hours of ice hockey for campers choosing both. If you choose just hockey, you will have 4 hours on ice daily. If you choose just field hockey, you will have 4 hours on the field daily. Evenings include dinner, team building, video review and free time before 9:30 lights out. Camp operates in compliance with Massachusetts Board of Health requirements, with a nurse on call and background-checked staff.
