About this event
Dates: Nov 3, 10, 17, Dec 1 , (Skip Nov 24) Instructor: Julian Suver Description: In this class students will tackle individual projects under guidance from the instructor. Students will design and plan their project either from sketches or reference pieces which can be sewn in cotton muslin or in material supplied by the student. While this is not a pattern drafting class, some pattern cloning techniques will be covered as well as more advanced sewing methods. Potential projects may include cloning or altering a favorite garment, creating accessories such as bags, making pillows or decorative wall hangings. Prerequisite Sewing 101 or equivalent experience. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. Weekend Intensive students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
