DATES: Nov 3, 10, 17, Dec 1 , (Skip Nov 24) Instructor: Milo Godfrey In this class, students will expand their Machine Knitting skills on their own individual standard gauge knitting machine. This class explores hand manipulated stitch techniques, cables, short row shaping + colorwork and punchcard patterns. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the features of the machine and leave with a collection of swatches, examples of practical application of techniques and a custom punch card of their own creation! -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4-week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the month of class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
