Description

Join Rec staff for this outdoor-based after-school program where kids explore the wonders of nature through games, activities, building projects, and unstructured play. Each week offers something new, encouraging children to connect with nature while having fun.
As this is our winter session, families should be aware that it can be quite challenging—participants are outdoors 100% of the time, regardless of weather, and the program follows a play-based philosophy that includes supported risk-taking.
This class will run weekly rain or shine, please dress for the weather. We will meet outside in the BICS undercover area/playground before heading into the forest behind the school and beyond!
