CU Physiology of Aging Clinical Trials - Lecture

CU Physiology of Aging Lab researches lifestyle interventions to maintain and improve cardiovascular health throughout the lifespan. Researchers will present findings from past studies that have informed current National Institute of Health funded trials. Attendees will learn about the established and potential impacts of MitoQ (an antioxidant), Fisetin (a compound found in strawberries), heat therapy, and inspiratory muscle strength training on blood vessel and brain function.

Presenters: Dr. Brendan Kaiser, Staff Scientist and Bri Astorino, BS, Masters Student.
