This in-person summer course prepares students for algebraic thinking through systematic study of numeric and algebraic reasoning. Students master operations on whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and integers, then apply these skills to ratios, proportions, and percentages. The curriculum covers algebraic expressions, equation solving, introductory geometry concepts, and data analysis. Students represent mathematical relationships through numeric, verbal, graphical, and symbolic forms, building the analytical foundation needed for advanced mathematics. Class materials not included.
