Teachers: Ms. Satir & Mr. Hulpach Grades: 3-4 Description: Imagine throwing a classy dinner party that your guests talk about for days. In this class, you will master the art of table setting, learn essential dining etiquette, plan a dinner menu, and prepare the first course, appetizers. At the end of the week, you’ll put your artistry and new skills to use. Teams of three students each will compete in a themed-tablescaping contest. The contest will involve setting a table with real dinnerware, glasses, cutlery and linens. In addition, teams will plan a themed menu, and prepare appetizers before serving the first course to invited guests. So, are you ready to “set the scene?” Come join us at the table!
