Katy Westcott has been drawing outfits since she was gifted Fashion Plates as a small child. She currently keeps a daily outfit journal where she paints her outfits, documents special hand knit projects in another journal, and paints her packing lists before trips. In this workshop, Katy shares her fascination with journaling all things wardrobe related. We will discuss what wardrobe journaling is, why you want to start keeping one, and how to get started. Each participant will leave this workshop with a clear idea of what they want to get out of their own journaling practice, and will leave with a small sketchbook of their own. This class will teach you how to create a bound sketchbook for everyday use, sewn with the French Link Stitch technique, to get you started on your wardrobe journaling journey.
