Description: Let's go for a frolic in the flowers on this wildflower hike! We are going to check out the flowers on one of the amazing trails that the High Country has to offer. We’ll leave Watauga right after school and meet up with our Avery counterparts at the trailhead of an epic hike through the beautiful flora this area is known for. Marisa Sedlak, who is a former naturalist at Grandfather Mountain, will lead this trip and help identify all of the wonderful species that we’re likely to encounter!
