LOTTERY SIGN UP DEADLINE: Wednesday, March 4th ** Sign up by this date to be included in the initial lottery ** WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR SPRING BREAK THIS YEAR. BOTH WILL BE JOINT TRIPS WITH OUR AVERY COUNTY BRANCH. There is a cost associated with this trip, but we DO NOT want that to prevent anyone from signing up. The price of this trip will not cover all costs incurred by Mountain Alliance, so we ask for each person to consider what they are able to pay and If you would like to bring in cash/check OR would like to create a payment plan, please contact Leah@MountainAlliance.org. Option #1: The Everglades ($200) We're heading to the Everglades! We'll stop at Congaree National Park on the way down before finishing the big drive! We'll spend several days exploring the Gulf and hiking around the Everglades. We will also head to Biscayne National Park and some state parks in the area to snorkel, swim, and enjoy the crystal clear blue water before heading back! Option #2: Louisiana ($200) Join us for a cultural immersion experience in Louisiana! While it may take some driving to get there, we will spend our nights camping at Fontainebleau State Park on a huge lake, touring New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and indulging in some cajun style food! Our service projects will include bayou and coastal systems and our adventure components will add swamp tours and exploring natural rock formations.
