Use nature as a muse and get creative this month at Hidden Oaks! Pick up a guide to help you start nature journaling, with multiple languages available including English, Spanish, Chinese and Polish. Then explore the preserve with a journaling kit in tow. Create a soundscape map, zoom in and zoom out on something special, make comparisons between two objects, create poetry of place and more!

Take your sheets home or add them into our Community Nature Journal to document all the wonderous things at Hidden Oaks. This journal will be used in future exhibits, so your work will live on in the history of the nature center. And don’t forget, there are prizes involved if you participate! Hidden Oaks Preserve has natural surface trails over uneven terrain.
