The name LEGO comes from a Danish phrase that means “play well.” Visit Hidden Oaks Nature Center to play well and challenge yourself to create your own nature-themed LEGO brick builds. Need help getting inspired? Take a short observational hike around Hidden Oaks Preserve to get your creative ideas flowing. Still drawing a blank? No worries! We’ll have photos and prompt cards to get you building. After you have completed your build, stop by the front desk to share a picture or description of your nature creation and receive a small prize. Standard and larger size LEGO bricks will be provided (and must be returned). Trails are comprised of uneven, natural terrain and accessible sidewalks. Hidden Oaks Nature Center is an accessible facility.
