Beginning Oil Painting: Grades 8 – 12

Learn how to make paint look rich, buttery, and real. No experience needed, just curiosity and love of color.

• Meet your materials: Learn your tools and safe studio habits

• Become a color wizard: Mix any color from just a few paints

• Play with paint: Try layering, blending, glazing, and alla prima oil painting techniques.

• Paint what you see: Create paintings from photos and real objects with emphasis on color and value.

*A materials list will be provided on the first day of class.
