Painting: Beginning Acrylic

This class is a great next step for students who have completed a foundation-painting course and are looking to expand on their skill level. This class will draw on and re-emphasize components of acrylic paint including color harmonies and symbolism, composition, and various stylistic applications. Students will work through assigned projects as well as create paintings of their own choosing that fit within a selected theme. Emphasis will be placed on individual style and needs. Materials list to be given in first class, please bring an example of your previous work to first class to discuss your style and artistic goals.
Prerequisite: Previous drawing and painting experience required.
