Painting: Intermediate/Advanced Watercolor Landscape

Using watercolor techniques to create your own expressive landscapes, you will capture peaceful moments through flowing color and light, painted entirely by your own hand. This class builds on basic landscape skills, focusing on depth, atmosphere, texture, and mood. Students develop stronger compositions and refine techniques through demonstrations and individual feedback. Students bring their own materials.

MATERIALS LIST

• 12 or 24 Watercolor paints
• Brush set
• Pallet
• Hard board (larger than paper)
• Watercolor paper (arches 300 gr, rough) should be purchased from michaels )
• Pencil
• Kneaded eraser
• Spray bottle (for water )
• Paper towels
• Tape

*In an Intermediate/Advanced class you should already have your supplies and be familiar with items on the list.
