NEW EVENING CLASS!

Designed for students with some drawing experience, this class builds confidence and skill in graphite and charcoal.

Students will strengthen their understanding of:

• Observation
• Proportion and perspective
• Value and composition
• Creating finished drawings
• Developing an individual artistic style

Prerequisite: Beginning drawing classes and / or drawing experience.

Graphite pencils: H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B

Charcoal pencils and vine charcoal

Kneaded and vinyl erasers

Blending stumps and chamois

Sketchbook, 9 × 12" or larger

Drawing paper, 18 × 24"

Toned and charcoal paper

Drawing board, clips and masking tape

Ruler and sharpener

Fixative (for use outside only)
