Fiber Arts/Textiles: Handweaving - Level 1 & 2Instructor: Kira KeckThis class is for students who have no experience in handweaving or who have acquired basic knowledge and skills, but want further instruction.
Level 1 students will start with the basics of how to prepare the warp and weft for their project either on a rigid heddle loom or a 4-shaft floor loom.
Level 2 / Returning students can work independently on their projects supported by the instructor. They will be assigned a loom ahead of the start date based on their request and will have access to reeds, raddles, warping boards, and other weaving tools in the studio. New students will begin on either a rigid heddle loom or a 4-shaft floor loom.

Weaving: Open StudioNo Instruction
Weaving Open Studio is an opportunity to work on your class projects outside of your regular class time. Students must be registered in the current Tuesday evening weaving class and be able to weave on your own to attend.
Thursdays, January 15 - April 24:30 pm – 7:30 pm, 10 sessions

Everyone should bring:
- A pair of sharp scissors
- Notebook/Folder
- Pen/Pencil
Suggested Materials for returning students:
- 1 x Boat shuttle. The 11” (regular and slim) are used in the studio.
- 1 x Bag of Bobbins suitable for your shuttle
- Yarn
- Cloth ruler
