This 2.5 hour tattoo flash design workshop focuses on the creative process behind making strong, tattoo ready designs. Participants will create their own piece of flash, either a full sheet of smaller designs or one larger standalone piece, while the artist, Drew Clendenin, owner of Clendenin Customs Tattoo and Gallery, walks through his personal approach to concept, composition, and refinement. Along the way, there will be discussion around design choices, references, and how a flash piece comes together from start to finish. At the end of the session, participants will have the option to stencil their design onto themselves to see how it sits on the body (no tattooing involved). Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
