Matter of the Imagination (MoTI) is collaborating with the Arts Council of Big Sky to host a free world-building workshop led by Jake Cherry. Whether you’re imagining a fantastical realm, strange new planet, magical city, or futuristic world, this workshop is an invitation to dream big and bring your ideas to life. The first hour will focus on brainstorming and building your world wiki, exploring elements like cultures, creatures, landscapes, histories, magic, and technology. In the second hour, participants will bring their worlds to life through drawing and map-making, creating places, landscapes, and adventures of their own. No experience is needed and all materials are provided. Come experiment, create, and build a world alongside Jake and the MoTI community! Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
