In this workshop we will learn the process or transferring leaf prints to fabric. Each participant will use locally collected materials to create their own unique bandana infused with colors from plants. Clarissa Holmes is a natural dye artist from Hamilton. She has spent the last 10 years abroad, exploring and studying natural dye traditions. She has developed a wide knowledge of techniques, plants and customs surrounding natural dyes, and has facilitated several workshops with the intention to connect people with plants, color and textile sustainability. All materials and tools are provided, and no prior experience is required. We encourage you to bring leaves and plant materials special to you to use.
