Please join author Mary Morton Cowan as she discusses her book TIMBERRR! A History of Logging In New England (2nd Edition). Explore 400 years of New England logging, from colonial mast cutting to modern sustainable forestry. Sparked by the author's family involvement in wood products (Paris Manufacturing Company), the book includes rare photographs, some of which will be shown in a Power Point presentation during the discussion. Books will be available for purchase by attendees. This course is FREE to the public. Donations are welcome at the event.
