Shark River Discovery Camp – One-Day Adventure Spend the day exploring, paddling, and discovering everything the Shark River has to offer! The Shark River Discovery Camp is an exciting, hands-on outdoor adventure designed for children who love being on the water and exploring nature. Campers will spend the day kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, searching for marine life, learning about the local estuary, and participating in fun waterfront games and team-building activities. Led by experienced and enthusiastic instructors, campers will gain confidence on the water while developing an appreciation for the unique ecosystem of the Shark River. Throughout the day, participants will learn about local wildlife, water safety, environmental stewardship, and the importance of protecting our coastal waterways—all while making new friends and creating lasting summer memories. No prior paddling or boating experience is necessary. All equipment, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddles, and U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets, is provided.
