Kids Kollective: Software Development & Video Game Boot Camp – Barrie Program Overview: Kids Kollective invites tech enthusiasts aged 4-14 to our one-day Software Development & Video Game boot camp in Barrie! In this 6-hour interactive session, kids will dive into the fundamentals of software development and game design. Led by an industry expert with over 12 years of experience, young learners will gain hands-on coding experience, creating their own basic video games while developing essential programming skills in a fun, engaging environment. Details: Ages: 4-14 Date: Single-day boot camp Duration: 6 hours Location: Barrie Capacity: Limited spaces available Program Highlights: Intro to Coding & Game Design: Kids will learn the basics of programming, exploring coding concepts and creating simple game mechanics. This foundational experience encourages problem-solving and creativity as they bring their own mini-games to life. Hands-On Projects: Each participant will work on designing and programming a basic game, developing skills they can build on as they explore coding in the future. Materials Included: All necessary materials are provided for use during the session.
