Whether you choose to carve grinning jack-o'-lantern faces into the soft clay, pierce subtle crescent moons and stars, or trim spooky silhouettes like bats and bare trees, this workshop gives you complete creative freedom to transform wheel-thrown cylinders into a matching set or four entirely unique candle holders. No prior wheel experience is necessary as you learn the basics of centering, opening, and pulling up the walls of small vessels. Once your vessels are off the wheel, you will learn how to pierce, cut, and alter the damp clay so the warm glow of a tea light or votive candle casts eerie, flickering shadows across the room. After shaping and detailing, you will finish your collection by selecting your glazes from our custom studio palette. All clay, wheel setup, trimming tools, glazes, and double-firing services are included. Make sure to come in comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy. Following the session, our studio team will handle the drying, glazing, and firing process, leaving your complete 4-piece set fully fired just in time for your spooky season decorating. 🗓️ Pick-Up Info: Your masterpieces will be ready for pickup 3 weeks from the class date.
