NOTE: Class skips January 18. Beginner/Intermediate level course that will focus on Western inspired jewelry design. Students will work on traditional design skills; learning techniques such as pick soldering, stamping & sawing; 3D construction of design elements for jewelry by using various tools, and embracing the drawing & planning process of designing jewelry. We will start with some simple hand building assignments to get students warmed up to an understanding and skill level for their final design. Students will design their own jewelry after completing assignments.
