If you have some experience with drawing and or painting and are ready to take your skills to the next level, this is the class for you! According to your desired objectives and concepts, you will create a series of three works. An artist creates a series of works to explore a concept and/ or techniques. The possibilities are endless and all depend on where you are on your art journey. The first class will be used to explore your ideas, brainstorm possibilities, and create compositional studies of possibilities. We will also plan out what materials, references, and supplies you will need to accomplish your goals and objectives. Come to class with possible ideas/concepts, an idea of what media and surfaces you want to create the works on and with, and an open mind! You may also wish to work independently but have the company of the class and ask for advice or help when needed. Lorraine has over twenty years experience teaching collegiate level art foundations.
