The Counselor In Training (CIT) program provides older youth (grades 9-12) the opportunity to develop their environmental leadership skills by supporting WAWA’s summer break camps. CITs typically have an affinity for the outdoors, and should have an interest in guiding younger youth who share similar interests. CITs get to enjoy both the traditional WAWA summer camp experience, while also getting hands-on-leadership training under mentorship from WAWA staff. The minimum 2-week commitment provides CITs the natural science and leadership skills to confidently lead in and outside of a camp environment. This is an unpaid position.
