If you are a native plant and wildflower lover, this class will provide an opportunity to see your favorite native flowers in a different light. Over the course of six Weeks, we will learn four embroidery stitches (French knot, satin, backstitch, and short/long) to complete five, four-inch hoops featuring: Cardinal Flower, Tickseed, Piedmont Azalea, Trout Lily, and Button Brush. Each week following the first class we will tackle a new pattern together. This class will likely include some homework to complete all of your patterns, but you will be provided with printed patterns to work from home. Materials will be included in the class fee. *Bring a pair of scissors to class.

REFUND POLICY: To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 2 weeks before the first class. No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time. To withdraw from a class, you are required to email ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov and include your name, the class name, and your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred. If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 2 weeks prior to or after the class has begun, a $30 administration fee will be deducted and only an account credit will be processed to be used for future class registrations, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery. If a class is running at minimum enrollment, we cannot process refunds or credits within 1 week of the class starting. If you register for a class after the session has begun, only an account credit will be processed if a withdrawal is requested. Anyone registered for a figure class with a model will be required to pay the model fee on the first day of class with cash or check to the instructor. Even if you request a withdrawal after the first day of class, you will be required to pay the model fee calculated based on enrollment on the first-class meeting. The Chastain Arts Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences and the student is not eligible to receive a refund or credit for any missed classes due to a student absence.
